A rare Chess designed by Carl Auböck, manufactured in his workshop in Vienna. The model 5057 chess consists of 32 light and dark pieces made of carved horn with brass bases. The chessboard is made of leather, stitched around the edges. This chess is a rare find and certainly a masterpiece from Werkstätte Carl Auböck; the precise and delicate workmanship is hard to beat.
