The PK24 recliner, designed in 1965 for E. Kold Christensen, is one of the most iconic and outstanding designs of the 20th century.
Kjærholm created a curved seat made of woven wicker. But what made that creation so special is the fact that each part of the recliner is designed as a separate element, each made from the most suitable material. Uncompromising, minimalist, and extremely precise. Kjærholm also dispensed with any connecting elements between the seat and the frame; each element is separate, and the chair's support is left entirely to gravity. A leather cushion for the comfort of the head is placed on a stainless steel frame, a very delicate solution.
The gracefully balanced seat seems to float above its minimalist frame.
Dimensions: Height 90 cm - Width 160 cm - Depth 60 cm
